Show off your grill skills in the backyard bbq throwdown!
Brookville BBQ Bash's Backyard Throwdown is a competition for grill masters to show off their grill skills in their choice of three categories - steak, burger, and appetizer. Competitors will present their dish to a panel of judges for cash prizes!

Rules:
You may enter multiple categories.
You will be expected to bring your own cookers and meat. You may cook with any heat source of your choice, as this can have a significant influence on your finished product to be judged. You must have a fire extinguisher for safety reasons. Your entry form and payment secures a 10x10 space throughout the day. You are welcome to bring a canopy, table, chairs, and your cooking source. Please use the comment section for approval of additional space and necessities or contact the chamber office directly. You are not permitted to serve to the public. Judging: Your dish will be judged by a panel of judges on the following criteria: Appearance, Doneness, Texture, Taste, and Overall Impression. You must provide four plate presentations for judging in each category. We will provide the plate. All participants will receive (courtesy of ExploreClarion.com) two passes to the Pittsburgh Zoo, tshirt, can koozie and official Brookville BBQ Bash beer mug. Winner will receive cash prize and (courtesy of DB's Smokin' BBQ) a grill grate and membership to the National BBQ Association. Cash prize will be awarded to 1st place winner in each category. Winning payout will be determined by participation. All other competitors will receive 2nd place bragging rights in the annual Brookville BBQ Bash = priceless! |
